Meet the Founder

Asalam-u-Alykum, I'm Shabana Ahmed.

I'm an Muslim educator, author, publisher, mother, and grandmother with over 22 years of experience nurturing young hearts and minds.

Throughout my years in the classroom, I noticed something important: while we often focus on achievement and productivity, we don't always make space for intention, reflection, gratitude, and meaningful connection. Yet these are the very qualities that help us grow closer to Allah and live with purpose.

Taffakur Studio was born from that realization.

What began as a desire to create thoughtful journals and educational resources has grown into a collection of gifts, keepsakes, and everyday reminders designed to inspire sabr, shukr, and taffakur—patience, gratitude, and reflection.

Every product is created with intention and rooted in Islamic values. Whether it's a journal that encourages daily reflection, a personalized gift that speaks to the heart, or a simple reminder woven into everyday life, my hope is that each piece serves as a small means of drawing us closer to Allah.
